If you're in Greece, you've got to spend a few days in Athens. I'd last been in Athens in 2011 and this was an opportunity to share what I'd loved on that first trip (swimming and seeing what my previous tour director Mario called "the best sunset in the world" at Cape Sounion, visiting the Acropolis, and just walking the streets of Monastiraki) with my soon-to-be-wife.

This church refused to sell the property to the government so a municipal building (now a hotel) was built surrounding the church.
