Bull hill, new york

For my bachelor party I hiked Bull Hill (also known as Mount Taurus), a 1,420 foot mountain in the Hudson Highlands that is just outside of Cold Spring. The summit offers good views of the Hudson River, but perhaps the most interesting feature of the hike is the ruins of the 1910s estate of Edward Cornish. The Cornish Estate Ruins are a husk of what was once a beautiful stone and brick building, since reclaimed by nature.
